Bestrock Sacco was originally registered on May 6, 1999, as Kitui Biashara Sacco (C/S Number 8851) to serve the larger Kitui District. On February 20, 2013, we rebranded to Bestrock Sacco, expanding our operations to the lower eastern region with approval from the Commissioner of Co-operatives. From humble beginnings in a small rented room in Kitui Town, we have grown into a thriving institution with over 5,000 active members. Today, we operate from a fully-fledged office located at Winlow Complex, 2nd floor, Kilungya Street, Kitui Town.

Our society was founded on cooperative principles, focusing on improving the welfare and economic interests of our members. We emphasize voluntary and open membership, democratic member control, economic participation, education and training, cooperation among cooperatives, and a deep concern for the community.

By listening to the needs of our members, Bestrock Sacco has evolved into a digital rural Sacco, offering innovative lending solutions to the business community without relying on a FOSA or check-off system. We are a prudentially supervised institution, committed to supporting the growth and financial success of our members.
